Navigon now extends its line of GPS devices with two new handhelds called 4300T max and 3300 max. According to Navigon, the intelligent wide screen GPS devices offer personalized route recommendations as per a user’s individual driving habits.

Both the 4300T max and the 3300 max are loaded with the company’s MyRoutes feature. Equipped with this attribute, users can carry out individualized navigation that allows personal route planning.

Delivering up to 3 route choices with distance and ETA calculations, the feature also offers factoring in speed limits, construction and traffic for all entered destinations. The portable navigation devices offer assistance while driving particularly updates on traffic, construction, phone calls and poor marking on exits.

Loaded with premium features, the 4300T boasts of a chrome-accented, piano-black housing. The stylish device includes Real-Time Spoken Traffic Updates that will automatically notify users of upcoming traffic congestion. Users can then re-route with the simple touch of a button. Besides audible delivery of traffic alerts, the device also offers the traffic update attribute for free.

The Navigon 4300T max also comprises of the Rand McNally navigation content which includes Best of the Road, Weekend Getaways, Scenic Tours and Regional Trips. Users can also manage their phone calls while driving through an integrated Bluetooth hands-free application in the device. There is also a Reality View Pro function on board.

The 3300 max GPS device is more of a value-oriented device that should relieve users of the stress while driving. The innovative device offers more for less by guiding users through virtually every step of their journey. In a sleek and slim body, the GPS device is a powerhouse of advanced functions.

Sporting a 4.3 inch wide screen touch display, both the 4300T and 3300 max GPS devices include the Navigon MyRoutes feature along with Clickable POIs, Lane Assistant Pro, Reality View for Exits, Fast Destination Entry, Advanced Text-to-speech, Exit Guide and DirectHelpSM. Additional features of the two GPS devices include Speed Assistant, Multi-Destination Trip Planning, Automatic Standby Feature, Favorites as POI, Coordinate Input and an Automatic Day/Night Mode,

The Navigon 3300 max and the 4300T max are expected to be available in Q2 of 2009 for a price of $199.99 and $279.99 respectively. The 3300 can also be upgraded to real time spoken traffic for $99.99 and the Rand McNally content for $19.99.

Both devices also come with an optional FreshMaps feature that provides up to 8 map updates over two years for a price of $79.99. On activating FreshMaps within 30 days of purchase, users will have to pay only $39.99.
