Epson’s recent launch of a new wireless-capable projector claims to take the world of multimedia projection to completely new levels. Named as the Epson EB-825, this novel projector offers easy usage and low cost of operation for both education and business settings.

Utilizing its USB port, the device stores the projections of JPG image files in flash drives or PCs. This offers users cable-free projections from wirelessly networked computers. Using a PC or notebook, the projector’s settings can also be tenuously dealt with. This allows for mounting the projector efficiently at unreachable or distant positions like high on walls or under ceilings.

With the convenient access panels, it’s also easy for users to clean or change its air filter or lamp. An incorporated 10-watt speaker enables the projector to play sounds from videos or presentations. Thus, users don’t have to bother about connecting an extra set of speakers to the device.

The EB-825 uses the Epson-Twin Optimized Reflection Lamp (E-TORL) for its light source. Apparently, this offers the lamp an existence of 6000 hours and is 20 percent more proficient than usual projector lamps.

Furthermore, the projector comprises of the Epson’s 3LCD technology and has a resolution of 1024 x 768, along with a contrast ratio of 2000:1. Images from the device are additionally projected via a 1.6 x zoom range lens.

The Epson EB-825 multimedia projector is priced at Rs.77, 800.
