Garmin Edge 705 Garmin International has announced the Team Garmin Edge 705 cycling computer from its line of Edge cycling computers. The 705 sports the colors - orange and blue argyle pattern - of the Team Garmin-Chipotle presented by H30.

The cycling computer is will be introduced at the Interbike in Las Vegas this week. It features the wireless unit-to-unit connectivity, GPS, heart rate, speed, cadence, altitude and gradient along with trun-by-turn directions, on the same display.

“The mapping capabilities and turn-by-turn directions available on the Edge 705 provide details about the twisting roads ahead,” said Jonathan Vaughters, CEO of Slipstream Sports, LLC, the sports management company that runs Team Garmin. “So rather than relying on our radios to describe changes in terrain, direction or elevation, we can focus on tactical discussions that put us in position to win the race.”

The device comes pre-loaded with millions of points of interest along with saved rides, official race courses, waypoints and workouts which can be shared across amongst other cyclists via the ANT +(TM) wireless technology.
