The portable media player may not be any different from other media players however it rules the hearts of people in China. The popular brand Cowon will now feature itself with a higher data storage space of 80GB with its all-new A3 Media player.

There has been no official announcement on this; however it seems that the Dutch retailer MP3spelers claim of the 80GB PMP to arrive soon. The COWON A3 PMP is currently available in sizes of 30GB and 60GB. The A3 player promises an outstanding audio and video format support with its sharp colorful screen and entertainment on the go.

The COWON A3 PMP features an FM tuner, Voice recorder, Digital audio player, Digital photo viewer, Digital video player, Digital audio recorder and Video capture ability from external source. The PMP provides a great view with its 5.2-inch widescreen which displays decent picture clarity with its TFT 4 in – Color.

The player supports audio formats as AAC, ASF, MP3, PCM, WAV, WMA, AC-3, FLAC, G.726, Ogg Vorbis, MPEG 1 Audio, MPEG 2 Audio, Apple Lossless, APE and also supports PDF viewer, Text viewer, FM recording, USB host function. With a battery life of 7-10 hours, the price of the COWON A3 PMP is expected to be around €448 which is approximately $698 USD.
