Here’s yet another product where utility and fashion have been appropriately married. SanDisk has rolled out a USB necklace, which is a USB (of course huh!) that can be doubles as an elegant necklace too.

Comprising of a hand-made gold pendant, this innovative necklace comes with Onyx center along with a little diamond. The diamond is the knob, which needs to be used to pull out the flash drive.

Featuring a memory storage capacity of anything between 4GB to a possible 12GB, the USB necklace pictured above is a 4GB model.

At present, SanDisk has only revealed a prototype of such USB necklaces and will intend mainstream production, on the basis of the retailer response and interest it receives. This exciting USB necklace was displayed at CES 2008.

Well, it takes no genius to guess that if these prototype USB necklaces from SanDisk enter into general production then the cost on availability will be exorbitant. But all the same, style doesn’t always come cheap!
