Motion Computing F5 Semi-rugged Tablet PC announced

Motion Computing has announced the semi-rugged F5 tablet PC which offers a combination of mobility, durability and functionality all in a single package.

The new F5 tablet PC sports a View Anywhere outdoor display enclosed in a magnesium frame. The display has a protective covering which can be cleaned easily. This tablet has been IP54 rated and designed to withstand exposure to dust and moisture. Further, it is shock, drop, vibration and temperature resistant.
This tablet PC runs on Intel Centrino processor technology with Intel Core Solo and comes pre-loaded with Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition and Windows Vista Business.

Motion Computing began shipping the F5 Tablet PC in February this year. Depending on the configuration, the price of the F5 tablet PC ranges from $2,699 to $4,000.
