Apple iPhone

The big day has finally arrived, after many months filled with speculation, rumors and more surrounding Apple’s revolutionary iPhone.

Apple has officially announced that its iPhone will go on sale today at 6:00 p.m. US time at Apple retail stores all over America.

According to the company, the iPhone will be available at all 164 Apple retail stores in the US which will remain open until midnight. Also, customers will be able to purchase up to two iPhones on a first come, first come basis, the company added.

Apple has also announced that from June 30 onwards, iPhone customers can attend free and in-depth workshops that will go on throughout the day at all Apple retail stores. Also available to customers at Apple’s stores will be free support and personal training at the store’s Genius Bar.

According to Ron Johnson, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail, “Apple retail stores were created for this moment- to let customers touch and experience a revolutionary new product.”

AT&T had mentioned earlier that their stores would remain open until 10 pm om June 29.

It’s too soon as yet, to comment on the Apple iPhone. Only time will tell whether this much awaited and much talked about product was worth all the time and effort put in by Apple as well as others who tried to promote the product.
