Cyber-shot W-series W200, W90 and W80 digital cameras unveiled by Sony

Sony has just announced a new line of high-definition component output digital cameras that have been designed to make photo-viewing absolutely crystal clear. Sony’s latest line of digital cameras is called Cyber-shot W-series and includes the DSC-W200, the DSC-W90 and the DSC-W80 digital cameras.
All the Sony Cyber-shot W-series digital cameras offer direct connection to HDTV and sport Carl Zeiss 3x optical zoom lenses, traditional, eye-level viewfinders and large 2.5-inch LCD screens.
The Sony Cyber-shot W-series DSC-W200 is the most compact of the lot and is a 12-megapixel digital camera. This camera is followed by the 8-megapixel DSC-W90 and the 7.2 megapixel DSC-W80 digital camera.
The entire line of digital camera’s in Sony’s latest Cyber-shot W-series feature a built-in slide show function. This makes it easy to play back images with pans, fades and wipe transitions complete with your choice of music clips. Moreover, these cameras offer direct connection to an HDTV, which makes it perfect for integrating full 1080 HD photo-viewing on to a home theatre.

The Sony Cyber-shot W-series of digital cameras incorporate Sony’s new face detection technology, which can identify up to eight faces in the camera’s LCD frame. This function also helps to automatically adjust white balance and flash as well as focus and exposure.
Besides, these cameras also incorporate a new feature- the multi-point auto focus (AF) feature that can automatically determine the right focus of up to nine points in the camera frame, rather than just focusing on what is in the middle of the frame.
Sony’s Cyber-shot W-series cameras also incorporate the Super Steady Shot optical image stabilization feature that helps to safeguard against blur that is very often caused by camera shake. Moreover, these cameras have high sensitivity settings of up to ISO3200 that can help to fight blur associated with fast-moving subjects. What is more, Sony’s Clear RAW noise reduction technology helps to minimize picture noise that commonly occurs when images are shot at high ISO levels.
Sony’s Cyber-shot W-series line of digital cameras is powered by the Bionz processing engine that became famous in Sony’s Alpha digital SLR camera system. Due to this newly-added circuitry, fast image processing speeds that are required to produce color rich, detailed pictures for true-high definition photo viewing can be delivered very well by the Sony Cyber-shot W-series digital cameras.
In addition, Sony is also offering three accessory options that can be used in conjunction with its newly announced Cyber-shot W-series line of digital cameras:
