Slacker Portable Radio Player now available for Pre-orders in the US
Slacker has announced the availability of its first personalized radio player called the Slacker Portable Player. This player is available in 15, 25 and 40 station capacities.
Only recently, Slacker had announced that it is extending the personal radio experience with the launch of the free Slacker Basic Radio and the more recently announced Slacker Premium Radio services.
Thus, the new Slacker Portable Players will provide users, whether they are using the free or premium service, access to the extensive Slacker music library including artist profiles, album reviews and large cover art.
The newly launched Slacker Portable Player sports a 4-inch vivid color display. This device also features revolutionary in-built DJ technology. All one has to do is refresh the personalized Slacker stations via Wi-Fi or USB to get access to the latest music hits and classic favorites.
A good feature is that one will be able to play their personalized radio stations even when they are not connected to Wi-Fi or any other network.
Features of the Slacker Portable player at a glance:
The Slacker Portable comes bundled with earphones, a USB 2.0 cable and carrying case. Moreover, Slacker users who purchase the Slacker Portable player will have the free option to have the player pre-loaded with their favorite stations and linked with their Slacker account (basic or Premium), making things much easier.
The Slacker Portable Player is available for pre-order only in the US as of now at Slacker’s Web site for a proce of $199.99 for 15 stations and a 2GB storage capacity, $249.99 for 25 stations and a 4GB capacity and $299.99 for 40 stations and an 8GB capacity.
