Dell Latitude XT Tablet PC

Dell has announced to introduce the Latitude XT, one of the thinnest and lightest convertible tablet PCs. The new tablet PC features a 12.1-inch bright display with daylight viewing panel.

The manufacturer claims that the new PC delivers accuracy and speed. While, the advanced digital palm rejection technology helps to prevent inadvertent contact that disrupts pen input.

Also, Dell’s new tablet PC is equipped with Optional media base for docking and optical media, Full-size keyboard with dual pointing, Up to 64 GB2 solid state drive; up to 120 GB2 hard drive and Intel Core 2 Solo and Duo ULV processors.

The battery life is up to 9.5 hours and the tablet PC also includes ATI Radeon X1250 UMA integrated graphics.

“We are listening and aim to exceed customers’ expectations,” said Margaret Franco, director, Dell Product Group. “Until now, customers have been forced to make tradeoffs in tablet functionality to have usable systems. With capacitive touch technology, the Latitude XT will revolutionize the way customers interact with their systems, allow customers to take full advantage of tablet technology and enable customers to get more done with greater speed and precision.”

Dell’s Latitude XT is now available in the US market at the price of $2,499.
