The Dopod D600 Windows Mobile PDA Phone hits the Indian Market
Dopod Communications, Personal Digital Assistant phone and Smartphone provider has just launched the D600, a new PDA phone in India. According to Dopod (India), the D600 PDA phone is a Windows Mobile PDA phone that aims mainly at enhancing users’ mobile experiences with a powerful, yet user-friendly interface. The company also mentioned that the newly launched D600 has been designed especially to cater to the Indian market.
The Dopod D600 PDA phone has a very sleek and stylish design. The D600 Windows Mobile Smartphone has a large, 2.8-inch-inch QVGA touchscreen, a 2 mega pixel camera, Bluetooth and an SD/MMC card slot. It also has a speakerphone with push-based wireless e-mail, SMS capabilities, web browser and personal organizer applications.
The Dopod D600 PDA phone comes preloaded with Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 and also includes applications such as DirectPush Mail, Internet Explorer Mobile, Office Mobile (Word/Excel/Powerpoint), Windows Media Player 10 Mobile, Pictures and Videos, and Pocket MSN.
Moreover, the Dopod D600 Windows Mobile Smartphone has a unique feature called Voice Commander, which allows users to dial and control their music easily with their voice.
It is a quad-band GSM Smartphone with GPRS support. The D600 PDA phone runs Windows Mobile 5.0 on a TI OMAP850 processor that runs at 201MHz with 128MB of ROM and 64KB of RAM.
The Dopod D600 PDA phone is ideal for active mobile professionals who wish to manage their work wherever they may be. With the D600 Windows Mobile Smartphone, users can also keep in touch with their friends and family, and access the latest news. However, the only thing that seems to be lacking in the Dopod D600 Smartphone is Wi-Fi capabilities.

Its really a fantastic PDA mobile. Earlier i was having nokia 7710, sony p990i, nokia 9500, I- mate SPL. I tried all these mobiles. But DOPOD D600 is better than all these phones. Picture quality and sound quality is too great and its really a user friendly stylish PDA mobile. Its touch screen and its voice command features makes it a perfect mobile for all those PDA lovers.The price is very affordable. Thanks to dopod for bringing a unique PDA mobile to the indian markets.

I am got inspired with Dopod D600 when i saw in the Newspaper. i dont know much about that Mobile Model.. Can you pls suggest me to buy the best mobile on Dopod. Hi Guys. I really don’t know the information related to the latest models of DOPOD. Right now i am using DOPOD D600 and its really cool. All the basic features of PDA are avalable with this model. Its ready to connect Internet sharing makes it worthful. Its word recognizing feature is too powerfull, whatever you think you can write on the screen.
Voice command and audio manager are the best features of this mobile.
You can increase the memory upto 2GB.
I am strongly recommend this mobile to all PDA lovers.

For a new model, this dopod lacks WiFi & that’s a very big minus as I see it. Quite strange! They should have incorporated that into the phone & it would have been a great choice…

I just want to know about the outlets of DOPOD in Chandigarh in India.
I think people are crazy about NOKIA Mobiles, but if we got DOPOD outlets surrounding us then i am sure people will be crazy about this.

i am sanjiv from india, i was using nokia 6270 which is a very nice phone,
but all the fetures of this phone are same like other phones, so i wanted to get a diffrent type of phone, and i got it .
now i have dopod d600 which is really a very cool phone, if you are looking for a pda mobile then you should go only for this mobile not i-mate or o2.
coz it is much better than any other pda mobile.

I read a lot about Dopod 600. Being a professional Astrologer I need to connect to the Internet very often while I am on the move. I did a thorough study and found that this is the best model when compared to other phones like O2 becuase O2 is expensive. WIFI should not be a problem since WIFI is currently available only in Airport. So I have finally purchased it and found it very good.

check out the htc asia webiste.
u will get a region slection option in that select india and then check out for service center address and tel no. its somewhere in vikroli.
also please not that u will have to register ur complaint first on there hotline which will give a uniqueid.
this unqiue id will have to be subimiited with the service center executive.
prior to that i suggest try doing clear storage from settings on ur cellphone.

i dont abt the moto rocker but let me tell u d600 audio qualtiy is good when u use stero headset …it is simple best and most imp the eraplus that comes with the package are very good …u will never expereicne any sort of ear pain. also it got audio boosster and equilizer software.
negative point is speaker phone is mono and the audio jack is properoity.

Imagine sometimes use cable just for this.

hello..

I have Dopod600 taken in the month of March, 2007. I am extremely happy with the performance of the phone. Unfortunately now I am facing a problem like the battery drains off very very fast while talking. I have changed the battery which I got it from the person from whom I have purchased the set (as I was unable to get it from the HTC outsourced service centres). I request the other dopod users to suggest me what to do? The set otherwise is working extremely well and I am extremely happy with the set
