Logitech unveils Innovative Harmony Remotes and Streaming Music Systems in India

Logitech Harmony Universal Remotes

Logitech just unveiled a number of products in the home entertainment market in India. Gracing the event with her elegance was Soha Ali Khan. The products unveiled are the Logitech Harmony universal remotes and sound music streaming systems.

The Logitech universal remote line-up include the Harmony Remote 1000, Harmony 885 and Harmony 525.

Soha who was obviously smitten by the innovativeness of Logitech’s products said, “Everything’s going digital. It’s really difficult to imagine a home without these Logitech products in the near future. I had seen Harmony 1000 when I was traveling in the US earlier this year and have wanted to get my hands on it. It’s really cool. I can get rid of all my other remotes!”

The Logitech Harmony 1000 is very different from any other remote you may have seen. This remote trades in the plethora of buttons and stereotypical remote look for a sleek new industrial style that consist of just an LCD and a few basic control. The Logitech Harmony 1000 remote is priced at Rs.27,995.

The Harmony 885 and Harmony 525 remotes look like your usual remotes. However, we don’t know any more details or price of them as the press release on these Logitech products failed to specify that.

The Logitech Wireless DJ music player streams PC music to the stereo and also allows users to control their computer’s playlists from anywhere in the house.

The Wireless DJ features a large and clear LCD screen and an intuitive scroll-wheel interface. Basically, you will be able to store your music and play it somewhere else using the Wireless DJ. The Wireless DJ is available for a price of Rs.15,995

Logitech Squeezebox and Wireless DJ

Next up is Logitech’s Squeezebox has an easy-to-use player that also transmits music from the PC to the stereo through WiFi or by using cables.

Logitech’s Squeezebox also sports a screen that displays track listings and allows the user to browse music by genre, artist, playlist and more. What’s more; you could also get access to thousands of Internet radios, even if the PC is switched off. The Logitech Squeezebox ix priced at Rs.19,995.

Many corporate honchos and the well traveled have wanted us to offer the Harmony range in India. We are happy to meet their request.”

“Our sound music streaming systems promise to catch the fancy of all tech-savvy music lovers. They are too cool to resist!” he added.
