Nike and Apple Offers Personal Fitness Workout Kits for Indian Sportsmen

Nike Shoes with iPod Nano Nike has launched a personal fitness workout kit especially for Indian athletes. Its new footwear is targeted at the sportsperson who like to listen to their favorite music while workout.

Long jumper Anju Bobby George and cricketer Dinesh Kaarthick unveiled the Nike plus iPod sport kit in the country.

The bundle of Nike plus iPod sport kit consists of running shoes, which are connected to Apple iPod Nano, is available at Rs. 16,000. The Nano can be used to store information. They can keep a record of distance, calories burned and pace of running.

“If you can incorporate time, distance and calories burned together and make it function for both the fitness runner and the high level athlete, it will take working out to a whole new level,” Anju George told The Hindu.

Even she eradicated chances of cheating coaches.

Apart from keeping the record, this bundle can relax sportsmen and give them a good break with their favorite music.

The kit that includes an in-shoe sensor and a receiver attached to iPod nano model will be available for Rs. 2000. The Personal Fitness Workout Kits are available at selected Nike and Apple stores.
