Panasonic has announced five limted edition Lumix DMC-FX07 digital cameras in Japan. The limited edition Lumix DMC-FX07 digital cameras may seem very similar to its Lumix counterparts. However, the limited edition Lumix DMC-FX07 digital cameras are encased in a special lacquer-finished casing.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX07 digital camera has a 7.2 mega-pixel resolution and also features EMA I.O.S (optical Image Stabilizer) which helps to enhance image quality. One also comes across features like 3.6x optical zoom (equivalent to 28mm to 102mm on a 35mm film camera) on the attached 28mm wide angle f/2.8 LEICA DC lens and a 2.5-inch Polycrystalline TFT LCD screen.

Panasonic has also incorporated MEGA O.I.S, equipped with two selectable modes in order to combat camera shakes. In “Mode 1”, the O.I.S lens continuously compensates for vibration. In “mode 2”, the O.I.S lens suppresses hand-shake only at the moment the shutter button is pressed.

The limited edition Lumix DMC-FX07 digital cameras are available in five luminous colors. Apparently, Panasonic looked at Paulownia trees for inspiration. For those who are unaware, Paulownia trees are native to china, Japan and Korea. With a special lacquer finish on the front of the camera, it is reminiscent of the traditional beautiful rich handicrafts of Japan. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX07 Cameras are available in five different colors limited to only 100 pieces per color. Each camera comes packed in a specially made Paulownia box.

Matsushita network marketing is in charge of the distribution of the Panasonic limited edition Lumix DMC-FX07 and will sell for a price of 59,800 Ten, which is approximately $515.
