On the same day that Microsoft launched its much awaited Zune music player, Zuneinfo had reported on the possibility of a pink colored Zune hitting stores. At the time, the Zune team were given limited edition pink Zunes as a ‘Thank You’ present. They were the only ‘lucky’ or maybe not so lucky people to get their hands on the pretty pink Zune music players. We are sure that all the females who read this have their hopes hiked way up. Well here is a bit of good news for all you people who went ‘pink with envy’ and wish to get your hands on one of these.

Apparently, Microsoft has distributed around 100 pink Zune music players. We yet don’t know where exactly the pink Zune music players are available, but we sure do know that they are out there somewhere. One shopper managed to pick one up at Circuit City, and has now put it up for sale on Ebay.

Along with the limited edition pink Zune players, Microsoft is also providing a certificate that states, “Congratulations! We couldn’t resist shipping you 1 of 100 extremely limited edition Zune devices. Welcome to the Social. We’re glad you’re here.” Wow, Microsoft has sure gone all out to make its customers feel special.

So now you are faced with two very tough choices. Either you please your girlfriend, mom or sister by going all out while bidding for this limited edition Pink Zune. Or, you could just put on your shopping shoes and go hunting for the limited edition Pink Zune out in the wild! Either which way we wish you good luck on your Endeavour. Oh we must warn you, the bidding on Ebay for the Pink Zune has already reached $380.
