Computers that gauge Human moods on the way
Above is a picture of Christian Peter who is smiling at its computer and using a glove equipped with sensors transmitting several of his physiological parameters.
Christian Peter’s system makes use both video facial recognition as well as biofeedback to tell your gear that it may soon be in for some hurting and to change course accordingly, thought the exact functioning of it is yet quite ambiguous. Peter’s emotion detector works by scanning a user’s face for cues of anger or frustration (voice recognition is also being included to analyse tonal fluctuations) and measuring his/her heartbeat, blood pressure, and skin temp via a tethered glove. The system will be on display at CeBIT from March 9th through the 15th in Hanover, Germany.
