A Dozen Security Updates prepared by Microsoft for the upcoming Patch Tuesday

Micrsoft Patch Tuesday image Announcing its latest round of patches for the coming Patch Tuesday update, Microsoft released 12 security bulletins for the same. The new patches would fix both Windows OS and MS Office Suite.

According to the gathered info, 10 of these patches would be to fix flaws in Windows and at least one of these has been rated as critical by the company.

Two other patches would fix the MS Office productivity suite. One of these patches is going to fix a critical flaw in the application.

Microsoft added that some of these patches would require a PC restart for complete installation. They would also be updating their Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool.

In addition, Microsoft will release an updated version of its Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool on Windows Update, Microsoft Update, Windows Server Update Services and the Download Center. The software giant will also release two non-security high-priority updates for Windows on Windows Update and Software Update Services.

Microsoft will hold a webcast next Wednesday to answer customer questions about the latest cycle of patches.
