Yahoo! India introduces a brand new upgrade to its search engine which will benefit the advertisers and will also provide the internet user more effective results with relevant content displaying on their screens. Yahoo! gave us the insight on this latest upgrade at a press event held today at Mumbai, India.

The latest Yahoo! Search Marketing platform released by Yahoo! India runs on the lines of the ‘Panama’ version used by Yahoo! themselves. The new platform will provide the advertisers a variety of features that allow them to target their required segments of the market by leaving a significant impact on the user. The Yahoo! Upgrade will also provide the control to the advertiser to test multiple versions of their advertisements and provides an easy-to-navigate control that allows advertisers to gauge the effectiveness of their advertisements.

“Yahoo!’s new technologies and features encourage more participation in the growing area of search advertising to make us a ‘must-buy’ in advertisers’ marketing mix. Inc.

India. “Additionally, it presents a significant opportunity for existing YSM advertisers across the world to target Indian consumers,” added Mr. Deshpande.

The new release will provide varied benefits to the advertisers like setting a budget to spend daily or monthly, block continents or areas where you do not want to attract attention and setting up the status to online or offline mode.

    panama has failed globally (thats why they’re looking to hold google’s finger and make money on search) and now they’re bringing it to india and its getting PR…. tamasha dekho!
