This week, we realized that even though there wasn’t much happening in this little world of ours, it’s our pleasure to make it more interesting for our readers.

In case all you audiophiles and visual addicts seem to be disappointed at this news, well you will be pleasantly surprised to know that the company will now source the panels from Panasonic’s Matsushita Electric. Well, something is better than nothing!
Here’s some excellent news for gamers in Europe who have been waiting to get their hands on the Xbox 360, but were forced to stay away due to dearth of money. From March 14 onwards, the console will be available at a discounted price in Europe. It’s one of Microsoft’s money-making tactics and also a well-executed strategy to lure more gamers to enhance the sales of its Xbox 360 games. Now, TiVo users will be addicted to their TV screens a whole lot more. Not only will you be able to watch pre-recorded TV shows that you made sure to tape while at work, but also virtually any video from YouTube. The service will be out soon. YouTube videos on a television screen. Now, that sounds just perfect!
Apple, Apple, Apple, oh when will you ever remain out of the news for patent infringement? This time, it’s ZapMedia who will be hitting the jackpot as the company has sued Apple over the iTune music store and iPod players too. Claiming to own a patented method for distributing digital media online, ZapMedia has raised a question over the method of sending music and other digital content from servers to multiple media players. So many tech companies have been making a quick big buck using Apple as the scapegoat. But, who can be believed here, maybe it’s Apple who is playing thief all the way!
Our week cannot go by without reporting amazing news from the gaming world. Take Two has confirmed that it is working on Bioshock 2, which could possibly be a sequel or even a prequel to the original game. But, who cares, as long as we get another dose of action in the underwater world of Rapture. And, which gamer in their right state of mind would miss the chance to play the sequel to a game which has been termed as the “spiritual successor” by none other than Ken Levine himself.
Our week has just gotten better as ASUS has reinforced our faith in tech companies going green. The company just showcased its latest concept laptops called the Bamboo series. The company is making an effort to save, preserve and conserve the earth by using bamboos as an alternative material during the manufacturing process. Expect a highly unique tactile surface and a nice fragrance!
And, the week cannot be complete without some totally unexpected or shocking news in the tech world. Hackers have found a new arena to showcase their brilliant skills. Scientists have found out that heart pace makers can be hacked to steal medical information and even cause them to stop working! Who in their right mind would want to do such a thing, we wonder!
