From 28th-30th September, 2007, one place that all Mumbaikars should rush to is the Asia IT Expo 2007, that is being held in the city. Sponsored by The Economic Times, the expo is taking place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai, India.

The IT Expo 2007 is one thing that no computer hardware, software and services companies should miss. The expected walk-ins are IT professional, system integrators and manufacturers of computer components, distributors, resellers and channel partners across India.

From the most basic peripherals to state-of-the-art devices, all can be found here. Big companies such as Samsung, Fujitsu, Onida, D-Link, Xerox, VOX etc had their products on display at the expo.

A noteworthy mention has to be that of Kingston, who celebrate their 20 years of industry now. The company, which is just a year-old in the country, is in the works of making IT products available to Indians and develops its flash memory family.

TechShout.com had a chance to speak to Kingston India’s newly appointed Country Manager Nitin Malhotra. We asked him as to what can India look forward to from Kingston, to which he replied, “We have recently launched the SDHC 4GB cards, mobile card readers, the 9-in-1 Mobilite card reader in India.” He continued, “In addition, we have introduced the HyperX DDR3 in the memory module, which is essentially for gamers.”

Malhotra added, Keeping in mind the IT Expo’s laudable endeavor to make IT products available to all the people in India, we will take this opportunity to ass numerous exciting additions to our Flash memory family.”
