Ricoh has launched a new G600 compact digital camera which is water and dust-resistant. The latest camera sports a wide-angle 5x zoom lens.

Moreover, the camera can withstand a fall from 1.5 meter. It is mainly made for outdoor use and especially for rough and tough usage.

The camera can also be useful for macro photography as it offers a 1cm macro function and flash with a range of 10 metres.

Apart from still images, the G600 allows users to capture images in low light conditions with ISO 3200 sensitivity.

The G600’s 2.7-inch picture display automatically adjusts the display’s brightness according to light conditions.

The camera measures 116.5 x 68×32 mm and weighs 260 grams. The G600 is powered by AAA size batteries and can shoot 360 shots on one charge.

The G600 will be available in May for £349.99.
