Samsung Announces TL34HD, TL9, SL310W and SL201 Cameras

Samsung Logo After the launch of NV100 HD camera, Samsung has announced its new range of digital cameras in US. The latest line-up includes TL34HD, TL9, SL310W and SL201 cameras, which will cater different photography needs of the consumers.

Like NV100 HD, the Samsung TL34HD camera is also a 14.7 megapixels camera. Further it features a 28mm wide-angle focal length Schneider lens with 3.6x optical zoom. As a result sharp, clear and detailed images can be achieved. The TL34HD is the successor version of the NV24HD, with the ability to capture high-definition video at a resolution of 720P along with Dual Image Stabilization. Moreover, the pocket-sized camera is equipped with three-inch touch-screen hVGA LCD.

On the other hand the Samsung TL9 camera features 10.0 megapixel sensor with 5x optical zoom. A 2.7 inch LCD, Dual Image Stabilization, ISO of 1600, Face Detection and Blink Detection are some of the other features of the TL9 compact camera. Being a perfect companion on holidays, the TL9 camera boasts MP3 and PMP capabilities.

Samsung claims that the SL310W camera is an ideal for the step-up shooter. An impressive resolution of 13.6 megapixels, Dual Image Stabilization, 2.7 inch LCD, and a 3.6x, 28mm wide-angle optical zoom lens are significant attributes of the SL310W. Also the camera sports user-friendly features including 11 scene modes, auto red eye fix and MPEG-4 video recording.

While, the SL201 camera features a resolution of 10.2 megapixels, a 3x optical zoom lens and a large 2.7-inch intelligent LCD. The incorporated LCD screen will automatically brighten or dim based on available lighting. Face Detection, Self Portrait, and Digital Image Stabilization technology make the camera versatile and ready to use at any situation. Night, Children, Landscape, Text, Close-Up, Sunset, Dawn, Backlight, Fireworks, and Beach & Snow, shooters modes deliver better image quality every time.

All the newly announced Samsung cameras are expected to be made available in the US market in September 2008. The prices of the cameras range between $169.95 and $329.95.
