Canon seems to be encouraging people to bring out the shutter bug in them. Canon India has announce the launch of the Canon Professional center at Chennai, in southern India. Here, Canon will be providing training facilities to its customers.
For this, Canon has tied up with one of the leading photography training institutes called “Ambitions 4 Photography” which is located in Chennai itself.
These specialized photography workshops will be offered on every first and third Saturday of the month to Canon’s digital camera customers and for 4 hours every second Saturday to the Canon Edge members who purchase Canon DSLR cameras.
This tie-up between Canon and Ambitions 4 Photography will train students in both basic and advanced photography still photography. In fact, this whole Canon Professional Center is because Canon wishes to give back a little something to the photographic society, by encouraging trainings for enthusiasts, beginners and professionals.
This initiative is being supported by the globally renowned photographer KL Raja Posing who will impart knowledge to the students of the Canon Professional Center.
Mr. Alok Bharadwaj, Senior Vice President, Canon India commented on this imitative saying, “Launch of Canon Professional Center is a novel concept to promote the interest of photography among young students. Over the years, Canon has realized the need for infrastructure and guidance in the field of photography to augment the growth of amateur photographers. The launch of Canon Professional Center is a significant step and Canon’s conscious attempt to help the young photographers in understanding the concept of basic photography.”
In the past, Canon had tied up with Mumbai’s Shari Academy of Professional Photography & Digital Imaging and The School of Convergence in Delhi which provide training.
