Orange behind the sluggish 3G iPhone network in France

After reading what we are going to report, the 3G iPhone users in France will be definitely going orange err red with anger. Apparently, the slow pace of the high-speed 3G network of the iPhone was all thanks to Orange.

On the contrary, the carrier had artificially limited the data speeds while users were paying for the speedier 3G connectivity. Revamped Nintendo DS is mere speculation says Nintendo

Nintendo’s much rumored dual-touch screen DS is back again in the limelight with yet another rumor suggesting its arrival. However, as the GamesIndustry.biz reports, Nintendo officials denied to comment on “rumors and speculations”.

The news was brought out by Kotaku which said that, “according to several industry sources”, the new DS is on its way. Initially the new Nintendo DS was expected to be launched in E3 this year; however there was no official announcement from the Japanese gaming company.

Apparently the new DS is supposed to sport larger than current screens.

As per the reports, the chances of launch of the dual-touch screen DS are only possible post-Christmas, ie next year. Well if things are really going to happen this way, then, as the bloggers all over the gaming domain, are regarding as a senseless move by Nintendo since there are more chances of the DS sales in Christmas.

SanDisk Announces SDHC Card Featuring Speed of 30MB Per Second

SanDisk Extreme III SDHC Card SanDisk announced its new SDHC card which transfers data at a blazing 30MB/s. The new Extreme III 30MB/s Edition line of SDHC Cards range is scheduled to be available by September 2008.

When the card is placed in SanDisk’s new ImageMate Multi-Card USB 2.0 Reader/Writer, users can easily transfer their images as well as videos with the outstanding speed of up to 30MB/s. The increasing use of DSLR cameras demanded a faster SDHC card speed, claims SanDisk.

Talking about the achievement Susan Park, director of consumer product marketing for SanDisk’s performance cards said, “The high capacities and performance of the SanDisk Extreme III 30MB/s Edition SDHC cards give users the freedom to shoot lots of high-resolution photos and video clips.”

Sony T500 Compact Digital Camera Launched

Sony has expanded its Cyber-shot range of cameras with new T500 compact model. Apart from capturing high quality images, the new 10 MP camera features wide and full-screen 720p movie recording at 30 frames per second in fine, standard and VGA recording modes. Sony claims that its new camera’s resolution is three times higher than standard-definition movies.

The camera’s movie function is based on the MPEG4 AVC/H.264 codec for video compression and stereo audio. The T520 is capable enough to record a video clip up to 10 minutes in length.

Another advantage of the camera is it supports Memory Stick media card having capacity of up to 16 GB. The T520 camera also integrates 3.5-inch transflective, touch panel LCD screen for easy navigation and 5x zoom.

Sony has unveiled its new S, E and B series Walkman players. The new players sport various options for enjoying tunes from multiple sources, including many download stores and personal music collections.
