Sprint WiMAX gets new partners, offering numerous services

Sprint mobile phones look all geared up to give the maximum of the wireless broadband service benefits and how? Samsung Announces SyncMaster 2233HZ and SyncMaster 2243HZ Monitors

Samsung announced to release two new monitors at IFA 2008 namely SyncMaster 2233HZ and SyncMaster 2243HZ. Both the new monitors are equipped with new Enhanced MPA technology. The technology reduces ghosting effects, which are seen as weak points of LCD monitors.

Apart from the technology delivering better visuals, the SyncMaster 2233HZ and SyncMaster 2243HZ feature response time of 9 ms. Hence the monitors are apt for gaming sessions as well as video playing.

Mash, the social networking site from Yahoo to shut down

Yahoo Mash Yahoo seems to have bid farewell to its social networking site Mash after one year of its launch. The social site was supposedly pitched in competition with Facebook.

Apparently the Yahoo community manager Matt Warburton sent messages to Mash members that said “Thank you for trying out our Mash Beta service. We hope you had fun with it. Please note that we will shut down Mash on September 29, 2008. As a result, your current profile on Mash will no longer be available.”

Looks like Mash got smashed down in the competition. For that matter Yahoo’s other social networking experiments also buckled up under competition within a few months of their launch, like the site called “Mixd”. Not only Mixd but Yahoo’s well known venture into the social networking scenario – Yahoo 360 also had the curtains pulled down on it this year.

It definitely doesn’t look like Yahoo! is having a yahoo time in the social networking domain.

At IFA 2008, Sharp announced to expand its AQUOS Series of TVs with new XS1 range. The new AQUOS XS1 series includes 65 and 52-inch TV models. What is unique about the new TVs is their thinness. The TVs are only one inch thick at the thinnest part.

Now this seems interesting. The news is that Google that is always putting its best creativity forward has some suggestions for you. No, not to suggest the ‘dos-and-donts’ which is usually the work of Agony aunts.

Google Here, the searches that you do on Google will now be assisted by Google Suggest that will keep notifying you with spelling errors, save keystrokes, and complete the phrases you type as search queries, automatically and lots of other things. The application seems to have taken four long years for its development in Google’s labs and is aimed to provide users with better search results.
